Our hand-made artisan version of a granary loaf is the Best Bread in Britain in the 2015 Farm Produce Awards!!!  .   We don’t use a granary packet mix, instead the Rex Baker prepares his own mix of linseed, sunflower seeds and oats, pre-soaks this in hot water with a touch of honey, then mixes that through a 70:30 organic white: wholemeal dough.  It’s amazing 🙂

Product Description

One of our signature loaves with its beautiful top cut, Multiseed tastes excellent sliced on its own, for sandwiches or a favourite for toast.  We removed honey from the recipe and replaced it with Malt Extract (British sugar product made from Malted Barley grown & malted in East Anglia), so that it is Vegan, and it does not taste overly sweet – stays soft & fresh with a crunchy crust.   For more on preserving bread, read here

    I don’t really like bread but I LOVE this! I always manage to find ways of enjoying it at every meal until it’s gone – in between meals too 🙂
